Chris joined the board of MRES in 2017 and since that time has also served as the Eco Experience Coordinator for MRES exhibits at the MN State Fair. Her involvement with MRES began in 2005-2006 when, as Senior Exhibit Developer with the Science Museum of Minnesota (SMM), she coordinated and led strategic planning workshops for Twin Cities Area organizations participating in a NSF-funded project called Community Partnerships Serving Science. She is currently Principal at AZIMUTH Design, LLC, drawing on years of experience gleaned from a career developing learning experiences with SMM, MN Children’s Museum and other museums around the country and abroad. She works with interdisciplinary, cross-functional project teams in museums and nonprofits to create relevant indoor and outdoor environments that engage diverse audiences and advance an organization’s mission.
