The Anderson-Larson home, with 1,728 finished
square feet, is both a residence and home office. With a goal to
help the environment, live by their ethics, and provide long-term
economic security, the Anderson-Larsons chose to install both a
water heating and solar electric system. Before doing that, however,
they made sure to prepare their home by using energy-efficient appliances,
compact fluorescent lighting, and lots of insulation.
