This natural foods grocery store is a LEED,
Energy Star, Certified Organic Retailer. The building was designed
by architect LHB and built by the Builder's Commonwealth, with the
renewable energy system installed by Conservation Technologies.
When asked their motivation for installing a renewable energy system,
site contact Shannon Szymkowiak states, "This was part of everything
we try to do here — education, 'being green' — think
of it as an outward expression of what the Co-op is about."
