The owners have been involved in renewable
energy and sustainable practices for many years, and their organic
farm and home are a showcase of several integrated techniques and
technologies. The entire facility runs on about 95% renewable energy,
including the new photovoltaic system. The design criteria included
efficient use of water and energy and being off the electric grid,
as well as minimizing combustion of fuels.

Travel 6+ miles south of Red Wing on Highway
61. Turn right on Ski Road and cross the railroad tracks. Turn right
on Poplar Ridge Circle and travel about 1 mile. Before reaching
the top of the hill turn right on Walnut Run Way. Proceed to the
end of the road.
