The homeowners remodeled an existing one-story
1890s stick framed house into a two-story optimum value engineered
(OVE) framed house with a net metered solar electric array and Forestry
Sustainability Council (FSC) wood and plywoods. They also added
a new master bedroom and bathroom with bungalow details inside and
out, restored existing stained glass windows and added several more,
and installed new FSC quarter-sawn red oak staircase and flooring.

From I-94 eastbound to St. Paul take the 5th
Street exit. Go Right (southwest) at 7th Street (by Xcel Center)
to Smith Avenue. Turn left (south) on Smith over the High Bridge
and turn left at the first traffic light at George Street. Turn
right on Ohio Street. It is in the middle of the block on the east
side with new stucco.
