About the American Solar Energy Society (ASES)

The Minnesota Renewable Energy Society (MRES) is the state chapter of the American Solar Energy Society (ASES), the leading national non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of solar energy technologies. Over its illustrious history, MRES has become among Minnesota's more respected sources for expertise on renewable energy technologies and development. Twice, in 1983 and again in 1995, MRES was chosen to host the annual ASES conference, bringing solar experts from across thecountry to Minneapolis.
